That's right, it's time for Mary Jane 2024, Berlin's massively popular cannabis expo, where all of the high flyers in the cannabis industry come to share their latest products. But along with guest speakers, music, and an all-around festival vibe, this is more than your regular stuffy conference; this is Mary Jane 2024!

What is the Mary Jane Fair?

As Germany's oldest and most renowned cannabis fair, Mary Jane first hit the cannabis scene in 2016 and has been a mainstay for cannabis connoisseurs and casual fans. All flock from around the world to see the latest and greatest in innovation and inspiration. However, it's more than just a trade show; there are also over 35 industry expert keynote speakers and even live music and DJs to keep a fun atmosphere over the weekend's festivities. So, regardless of your interests, there's something for everyone at Mary Jane.

Held at the Messe Berlin, this massive exhibition space has plenty of room for all attendees. With a vast area dedicated to some of your favourite cannabis companies, you may even be able to pick up some merch or freebies! There's also an official after-party on Saturday night that goes until late, so the festivities don't end as soon as the doors close. Simply put, there's plenty to do at Mary Jane, and 2024's expo is shaping up to be one you won't want to miss.

Why 2024 is so important for Germany

As mentioned, 2024 has been a massive year for cannabis in Germany. As of April, the laws surrounding cannabis have seen some drastic changes. The German government backed a new law that allows the recreational use of cannabis for those over 18. With possession limited to 25g in public places and up to 50g at home, this is a significant turning point for cannabis culture and law in Europe.

But that's not all; cannabis cultivators are also set to benefit from these changes in law. As of April 1st, adults can grow up to three plants per person. From July 2024, growers can also join nonprofit cannabis clubs with up to 500 members, which are essentially cannabis gardening clubs. With the aim of driving out the crime aspects of the cannabis industry, Germany now stands at the forefront of European cannabis reform. This makes the 2024 Mary Jane Fair an extremely poignant and exciting one for both attendees and exhibitors.
