Some days, nothing is quite as comforting as a warm bowl of soup. Not only does it soothe the soul, but soup can include an almost infinite array of different ingredients, meaning it can range from simple and subtle to complex and rich.
Now, imagine adding a twist to this comfort food with the addition of cannabis. Whether through cannabis oil or cannabutter, weed can bring an interesting layer to your soups, infusing them with the effects of THC or CBD. Why not get high from your dinner? This article explores five cannabis-infused soup recipes that are simple and delicious.
5 warming cannabis-infused soups
As mentioned, for those curious about infusing their soups with cannabis, the process requires cannabis oil or cannabutter. Using these ingredients means you don’t actually need to cook cannabis plant material into your soups, which makes the process easier, the soup tastier, and guarantees the effectiveness of the cannabinoids too. For those looking to make their own cannabis oil or cannabutter, you can find detailed guides on our blog!
Note that the amount of canna-oil or cannabutter required for each recipe is up to your tolerance and the strength of your infusion. Anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon or more of weed butter/oil could be appropriate, depending on the number of servings and the experience you're looking to have.
