Zamnesia - ACTIVATED COCONUT CHARCOAL FILTERS: FOR A SUPERIOR FILTRATION EXPERIENCE, EVERY TIME

Crafted in Germany, these slim filter tips utilize activated charcoal derived from coconut shells to provide top-notch filtration. Unlike traditional wood-based charcoal, coconut charcoal boasts micro-pores adept at filtering fine particles. Encased in chlorine-free, unbleached paper and capped with two heat-resistant ceramic tips, these filters offer a seamless experience with every use. Each pack contains 60 × 1/4 inch filter tips.

Questions & Answers

🔒 Why is my charcoal filter clogging up?
Why might my charcoal filter become obstructed? Temperature differences can cause your charcoal filter to become obstructed. It's the warmth mixing with the cooler charcoal filter that results in condensation prior to filtration. To prevent this, it's recommended to warm up your charcoal filter before use.
♻️ Can you reuse charcoal filters?
Indeed, charcoal filters have a longer lifespan than cardboard ones. They can trap harmful particles, but their efficiency will decrease over time. It's advisable to use them a few times before replacing them with a fresh one.
🥥 Why coconut charcoal instead of regular charcoal?
Activated charcoal produced from the coconut shell has a micropore structure that can deal with small air and gas molecules efficiently—making it the ideal choice for a filtration device. In contrast, regular charcoal has larger macro pores, which, in turn, allows larger molecules to pass through.

    Hit or miss?
First off, these filters are GREAT at cleaning the smoke. I don't think I know of a better one - including my fav c-tip. So why the 1 *? These filters are great for a specific type of smoker. It's horrible for the other kind :) Kind 1. Once in a while you light a blunt and you SMOKE it. You don't let it die, you don't relight and you just keep puffing. This is the filter for you, no doubt. Kind 2: You're a daily smoker, always holding a blunt and it regularly goes out before you take another puff. For you these are horrible filters. The reason why they filter so good is because they're chuck full of carbon - way more than, say, c-tip. BUT that comes with a disadvantage: once your blunt cools down, the carbon will stick together. So when you light it once again, the smoke is blokked by a solit block of carbon. Once it gets warm again, smoking can continue BUT this will go hand in hand with yellow nicotine smuch LEAKING. So your lips will taste like... Well, you know what yellow stuff tastes like. It's HORRIBLE. As you might expect by now... I'm smoker Kind 2 :) One last disadvantage: they're rather expensive in usage. You cannot recycle them for a 2nd (or even a 3rd) blunt, like you can with c-tip. Also, design wise... Why mirror the logos?? IF one wants to recycle, one wants to know which end was for smoking and which end is touching the tobacco. But you can't recycle these filters so it's a mood point. Still! :) So... With this information... Make your choice. I'll be going back to c-tip again (metal: which is so clean, doesn't soak and concentric... So a smaller end to smoke from and a broader end to funnel the smoke through.
