Critical as first grow
First of all: I'm not a teenage pothead looking for some brain damage. I'm in my 40s, have a family, a house, a well paid job as an engineer and currently struggle with symptoms of a burnout. I wanted to give cannabis a chance as an addition to my prescribed medication (i.e. antidepressants). Therefore I chose these seeds for my first grow ever due to their promised ease of use and their (relatively) short flowering period. I grew in soil and did several typical first-time-grower errors (overwatering, overfeeding, just to name a few). In the end this strain was really forgiving, recovered well and quick after the misuse and gave me several chances to learn from my mistakes. Under a 70W lamp I finally harvested 44g (dried), which equals 0.6g/W: An absolute surprise under the given circumstances.
Since I was looking for a cerebral high without the effect of a sleeping pill, I intentionally harvested quite early just when the very first trichomes went beige, not even close to amber. The effect is overwhelming! I get energized after tiny doses in the vaporizer and reach a relaxed, clear and optimistic state of mind which is a true game changer in dealing with stress. Seriously!
As you might expect, I can really recommend this strain not only for medical uses. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have left some buds to ripen until they get really, really amber to act as a sleeping aid. That's the main drawback of harvesting that early: I'm not able to sleep when I take this strain too late in the evening...
