Ütest Fentanyl Drug Test: Fast, Reliable Fentanyl and Synthetic Opioid Screening
Ütest's Fentanyl Drug Identification strips are designed to detect fentanyl and other synthetic opioids in urine as well as directly in substances (such as powders, pills, or liquids).
While you should turn to lab tests to confirm your results, these tests are ideal for harm reduction when consuming drugs or for preliminary workplace screening—especially as fentanyl contamination is on the rise. Thanks to their unique formulation, they have low reactivity to MDMA and amphetamines, ensuring a more accurate reading.
What's included:

- Mini bag to contain the strips
- Instructions for taking the test
- Instructions for reading test results
- Gloves
- Pipette
- Stirring stick
How to Take the Test
1. Prepare your sample:
- When testing powders: Add 10 drops of water and mix thoroughly.
- When testing pills: Crush or scrape the pill into fine particles and mix well with water.
- When testing urine: Take a sample from the first urine in the morning in a sterile container.
2. Remove the test strip from its foil pouch.
3. Dip the absorbent end (marked with dotted lines) into the sample for 15 seconds. Make sure the sample doesn't reach the MAX line to avoid contamination and invalid results.
4. Place the strip on a flat surface.
5. Read the results 5–10 minutes after testing.
Reading the Results
- Negative: 2 lines, one next to the “C” and another next to the “T.”
- Positive: 1 line, next to the "C" only.
- Invalid: No lines appear. Due to a faulty test or possibly a contaminated sample.
Note: The intensity of the lines can vary depending on the substance being tested. However, no matter how faint, two lines should always be considered a negative result.
Safety Precautions
- Always wear gloves and eye/face protection when handling unknown substances.
- Carefully review the instructions before starting the test.
- This is a preliminary screening tool—all results are presumptive. For confirmation, a certified lab test is recommended.
- Do not use the test after its expiration date.
- Keep the test sealed in its pouch until you are ready to use it.
- Each test is single-use only—discard after use.
Disclaimer: This test provides only a preliminary qualitative result. Use a certified laboratory for confirmation via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
