Ütest Fentanyl Substance Strip Kit: Fast & Reliable Fentanyl Detection
The Ütest Fentanyl 10 ng/mL Substance Strip Kit is a fast, effective, and easy-to-use method for detecting fentanyl in substances such as powders, pills, and liquids. As a synthetic opioid, fentanyl is highly potent and often present in unregulated substances. This test acts as a presumptive screening tool with low to no cross-reactivity with methamphetamine or MDMA, making it an excellent option for all uses.
This test can also detect fentanyl metabolites in human urine, offering additional versatility and convenience in screening applications. Each kit includes everything you need for testing, ensuring a straightforward process with clear results in minutes.
How to Use the Test
- If testing a powder, mix it with 10 drops of water in the provided cup.
- If testing a pill, crush or scrape the pill, then mix thoroughly with water.
- Place a small amount into the provided cup if testing a liquid.
- Open the sealed pouch and remove the test strip.
- Submerge the reactive end of the strip (marked with the dotted lines) into the prepared sample for 15 seconds. To prevent invalid results, do not allow the sample to touch the MAX line.
- Place the test strip on a flat surface and wait 5 minutes before reading the results.
Reading the Results
- Negative result: Two lines appear—one next to “C” (Control) and one next to “T” (Test). A faint “T” line still indicates a negative result.
- Positive result: Only one line appears next to “C,” no line next to “T.”
- Invalid result: There are no visible lines or only a line next to “T.” In this case, retest with a new strip.
Detection Window
As a general guideline, the detection window for fentanyl in urine is typically between 1–4 days after use. However, this can vary due to frequency of use, dosage, and metabolism.
Disclaimer: This test provides only a preliminary qualitative test result. Use a certified laboratory for confirmation via gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
