Growing mushrooms (no matter what kind) doesn't have to be rocket science. This all-in-one grow bag simplifies the process of cultivating mushrooms at home. Filled with a specially formulated, moist medium containing manure-based compost, organic grain, coco coir, and more, the ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag is the perfect beginner-friendly introduction to mycology.

How to Use the ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag

To start your home mushroom grow, simply:

1. Unbox your grow bag and sterilize all of your tools, as well as your work area.
2. Inoculate the medium using a sterile spore syringe/liquid culture. Browse the Zamnesia Shroomshop for countless varieties!
3. Wait for the mycelium to completely cover the medium.
4. Place the included rubber band around the bottom of the bag, roughly 1" below the top of your medium. Make sure there are no air pockets below the surface of the medium to ensure the bottom of the bag remains stable and to avoid mushroom pins forming on the side of the bag.
5. Cut a slit into the bag 2" above the medium, roughly the same width as the filter patch at the top of the bag. This will help to introduce more fresh air into the bag and promote fruiting.
6. Let the bag sit until pins (baby mushrooms) start to form.
7. Cut a hood into the bag by extending the cut you made in Step #5 around the side and front of the bag, leaving the back intact. Periodically spray inside the bag to keep moisture levels optimal and introduce fresh air into the bag.
8. Harvest your mushrooms once they're mature. Depending on the species you're growing, the ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag can produce a first flush within 30–60 days.
9. Repeat steps 6–8 until your bag stops producing mushrooms.

Using the ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag in Tubs or Tents

While the ShroomTek All-In-One Mushroom Grow Bag has been designed to be used on its own, it can also be placed in tubs, such as the Mark 1 Mushroom Monotub by Microppose, should you want fuller control over environmental conditions. Note that you'll need two bags to fill the Small Mark 1 Mushroom Monotub.

To use Spore Boostr, simply inject your spores into the liquid and withdraw it back into your syringe. Over the next 1-2 weeks, allow the spores to germinate within this enriched environment.
