How to Use North Spore Shiitake Liquid Culture

North Spore Shiitake Liquid Culture syringes are sterilized and shipped in sealed plastic sleeves. Upon receipt, store your liquid culture in the refrigerator for up to 2 months. To inoculate your medium, inject the culture through a sterilized, self-healing injection port directly into a sterile, humid growing medium. For the best results, mushroom media should be inoculated in a still air box. Liquid culture syringes can be used multiple times, but should be sterilized before and after each use. Once the mycelium has completely colonized the medium, begin fruiting your mushrooms.
