Turkey tail (Coriolus versicolor) is a super-nutritious mushroom variety packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Made using 100% turkey tail fruiting bodies, this powder is rich in a wide variety of nutrients, including fibre, B vitamins, antioxidants, and polysaccharopeptides (unique carbohydrates believed to improve immune function). Turkey tail mushrooms are also naturally rich in amino and fatty acids. The mushrooms used to make this powder are certified organic and collected by hand from forests all across China. The harvested mushrooms are then dried and pulverised into a fine powder, ideal for use as a daily supplement.
Advisory information
Recommended daily dose is 500mg of powder per 15kg of body weight. The maximum daily dose is 1g of powder per 10kg of body weight.
Turkey tail mushroom powder is best taken together with vitamin C to increase its bioavailability. The powder has a woody, slightly bitter taste and can be added to smoothies, juices, or cooked foods to mask its flavour and make it more palatable.
