A CURIOUS NAME FOR A SERIOUS PLANT

Mokum's Tulip is an unconventional name, but it'll make perfect sense once you understand the logic behind it. Mokum is Yiddish for Amsterdam, where this outstanding new cross was bred and tested. The sweet smell reminded the Dutch Passion crew of the tantalising scent of a very special red Dutch tulip. Makes sense, right?

When growing Mokum's Tulip indoors, allow plants to veg until they're about half the size you'd like them to be when they're finished. Then, flip them to a 12/12 lighting schedule. They'll quickly stretch to take up the extra room. If flowering plants exceed your height limitations, top or bend them. As long as it's in the first couple weeks of bloom, they'll recover like champs. After about 8 weeks, with some phenos taking slightly longer, the buds will be perfectly ripe and ready to pick.

By the time they're fully mature, Mokum's Tulip will be studded from head to toe with large, spear-shaped buds that shine with frosty trichomes, giving the green flowers and orange hairs an ice-covered look. Although the buds aren't overly colourful, the plants themselves are beautiful, with leaves that fade to shades of blue, purple, and orange. Harvests are bountiful, and you'll be more than satisfied with the superior yields.
