Enhance your health and the health of your cannabis plants with home grown Chamomile
CHAMOMILE
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is a small bushy plant with a showy spray of tiny white flowers whose petals bend back as if the sunlight has weight. When dried these flowers make a calming tea that has been enjoyed as a folk medicine in many countries on a daily basis since before the written word. Only a few plants will provide endless cups of tea that relaxes and aids digestion, is anti-inflammatory and is far nicer than any commercial product .
As a companion planted good guy Chamomile is said to enhance the turgor of neighbouring plants. It deters mosquitoes and flies and it's carpet of tiny white and yellow flowers will be a-hum with enthusiastic honeybees. Easy to grow and very hardy clumps can be broken apart and transplanted elsewhere with minimal damage or given to a friend in a pot.
If you have a spot where you kneel or need to step in your garden then that is where you put your chamomile. Chamomile is the BDSM freak of the herb world. It loves to be treated rough and benefits from being trampled, not to death of course, but don't be scared to stand on it if you have to. This makes it ideal for garden and path edges. Chamomile detritus helps keep compost heaps healthy.
