Master Kush, originally known as High-Rise, is a Dutch strain and was a coffee shop best seller for decades. It was created by crossing Hindu Kush with Skunk and soon became extremely popular in US dispensaries where people see it as one of the fundamental Kush strains. The Humboldt Seed Organization bred an elite version by crossing in Emerald OG, a hybrid of Fire OG and Emerald Diesel. They carefully selected the best-performing phenotypes and backcrossed results for four generations to obtain a powerful version of Master Kush.

Although the name might suggest that growers need a lot of experience to master this Kush strain, it grows with ease and is suitable for novices and experts alike.
