VIP Seeds – Landysh: Exotic flavours and Hawaiian genetics

Landysh is a three-way crossing between Hawaiian, Afghan, and genetics of VIP Seeds’ Skunk2. The mostly Sativa genetics of Hawaiian are known for fresh flavours reminiscent of tropical fruit, and for delivering a creative and happy head high. Crossing them with Afghani strains and Skunk2 improved overall vigour, added the purple trait, and gave Landysh the suitability to be grown outdoors.

A large production of aromatic buds can be expected, indoors and out. Indoor yields of up to 400-500g/m² are nothing unusual in good conditions, and plants will reach heights of 100-140cm. This strain is a good choice for outdoor cultivation in temperate climates, but even dry conditions will not cause any major problems. Lower night temperatures will enhance the tendency of Landysh to develop magnificent purple hues in bloom.

The taste of Landysh is very unique and can be described as a mix between the exotic flavours of Hawaiian, with a touch of Skunk spiciness, and flowery tones of lavender. Aromas remind smokers of wild flowers in spring, giving Landysh a very enjoyable smell. This strain offers a rather mild smoke regarding effects and potency. It’s a pleasant but not overpowering high that can be felt after taking a few hits, paired with a feeling of inner happiness.
