What's in the Box?

  • 1x Ardent Nova precision decarboxylator
  • 1x Power cable

How It Works?

Chances are you've decarbed your weed in standard kitchen appliances like an oven. While these appliances can get the job done, did you know that they actually waste a lot of your cannabis? Decarbing cannabis requires low and precise temperature control—something that most domestic appliances simply can't deliver. Hence, weed that's decarbed in an oven, pressure cooker, or microwave (yep, we've seen it all) usually loses a lot of potency in the process of being activated.

That's where the Ardent Nova comes in. A smart device complete with 2 sensors, elite electronics, and sophisticated decarb algorithms, the Ardent Nova has been specifically designed to activate the components of dry flower, kief, and even concentrates, without losing any valuable cannabinoids. Once you've loaded its chamber and started the decarb process, the Ardent Nova will analyse the weight and moisture content of your cannabis and decarb it accordingly—all without stinking up your entire house, thanks to its odour-free functionality. What more could you want?

How to Decarb Weed With the Ardent Nova

Decarbing weed in the Ardent Nova couldn't be easier. Just follow these simple instructions:

  1. Place your Nova on a flat surface (such as a kitchen counter), connect its power cable, and plug it into a wall outlet. A green light will appear near the Nova's power button, indicating that the device is ready to use.
  2. Twist off the Nova's black lid and remove the stainless steel chamber from the inside. Remove the purple cap from the stainless steel container and place your cannabis inside. The Nova can hold anywhere from 7‒14 g of dry flower (¼‒½ oz), but never try to jam it full. Note that the Nova can decarb whole cannabis flowers, so there's no need to grind up your weed prior to decarbing it.
  3. Place the purple cap back on the stainless steel container and put it inside the Nova. Place the device's black lid on top and twist it shut.
  4. Press the button at the bottom of the device. It will turn red, indicating that the decarboxylation process has begun.
  5. Sit back and relax! The Ardent Nova will now analyse your cannabis and decarboxylate it according to its weight and moisture content. On average, the entire decarb process takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. The light on the device will turn green once the decarb process has finished. Remember, there's no need to check on your weed as it's decarbing, as the Nova automatically tailors its decarb cycle based on the properties of your herb, and shuts off once finished, so there's no risk of charring or burning your weed.
  6. Remove your decarbed cannabis and use it in your favourite recipe!

Can the Ardent Nova Also Infuse Edibles?

While the Nova has been specially designed to decarb weed, some have used it to successfully infuse butter, oil, and other fats with cannabinoids. However, if you're after a device that can handle decarboxylation, infusion, and even cook edibles all in one, check out the Ardent FX.
