If you're looking for a classic sativa with plenty of history, Colombian Gold by World of Seeds is a superb choice. This landrace variety combines pure strains stemming from Colombia's Santa Marta mountain range. As a 100% sativa, this lady produces tall plants and cerebral effects, as well as lots of fruity terpenes. Overall, it's an excellent strain for outdoor setups, where it can reach taller heights and produce more buds; however, it's also primed to perform well indoors.
When you sow these seeds, you will be impressed by the sheer vigour of the plants. Colombian Gold grows fast and tall, developing plenty of lateral branches. It is also quite resistant to mould and pests. Indoors, plants take a respectable 65–75 days to mature their flowers. After this time, they tend to produce up to a satisfying 400g/m². When cultivated outside, harvest time falls around the end of October, and an attentive hand can harvest up to 700g/plant or more.
Colombian Gold has an intense aroma laced with sweet, fruity notes and a good dose of Skunk. Upon the first inhale, you'll notice a sweet, citrusy flavour, with a skunky and woody aftertaste. Definitely a classic terpene profile that will make you think of other cannabis legends. Once you've taken a couple of hits, you'll feel energised and euphoric as a THC content of 18% gets to work lifting your spirits.
