Ceramic Coated Grinder (EHLE)

Be warned
I absolutely hate that I have to leave a bad review, but people need to be warned about this grinder. DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this thing. I bought it because I wanted to treat myself for christmas (and thanks to the beautiful people at Zamnesia I used the black friday discount). But still, this 80€ grinder feels worse than a 5€ grinder, no exaggeration. Herb even passes out from the seal while grinding even a small amount, not even quarter filled. And the piece of plastic ring another person commented about, is literally a little sliver of plastic (I thought he was talking about a black rubber/plastic O-ring that he was not happy with, but no, it really is a little strip of cheap plastic). Now other than it feeling like extremely cheap material, mine arrived with nice deep scratches on top of it, as if a kid was playing or trying to draw something on it with a scalpel. This is underneath the untouched protective plastic! And the box was factory sealed, so this is not Zamnesias fault at all. How a company "EHLE" can send something out in this condition is beyond me. I took pictures with the plastic still on. (Ironically it comes with a nice little protective bag to put it inside… yeah thanks a lot!) This thing is so ugly Im not even gonna put it in the cupboard for display purposes.. complete waste of money. Sorry for the long rant, people be warned, dont buy it.

Bin zufrieden
Der Grinder liegt gut in der Hand, fasst einiges und arbeitet gut, der Magnet hält, was er verspricht. Getestet habe ich ihn bisher mit vier Sorten Blüten. Dank der keramischen Antihaftbeschichtung reduziert sich der Reinigungsaufwand. Gelegentliches Auspinseln ist dennoch kein Fehler ;-) Würde ich wieder kaufen, aber ich geh mal davon aus, dass der Grinder ein Leben lang hält. J. P.

Almost great
The grinder looks good, it has a sleek finish and it feels smooth. After a few week of use it’s not that smooth tho and what I dislike the most is that the grinder has a piece of plastic in between the cap and the body and it’s necessary for it to spin smoothly. Quite unpleasant for a 80€ grinder to depend on a plastic gasket in order to function properly.. I mean what if it gets damaged?
