Moonshine Haze by Rare Dankness combines some of the most valued marijuana genetics. She’s made with an indica female phenotype of a Soma Haze; the seeds are from 2005 and 2009 and stood for their great lemony flavour and stimulating effect. Her male parent is a Nevil's Wreck, a hybrid between Arcata Trainwreck and Neville's Haze that impressed with fast flowering and good yields, as well as an intense and almost psychedelic effect. Moonshine Haze blew up in 2011 when she scored Best Sativa at the High Times Cannabis Cup, shooting Rare Dankness up to national prominence all across Colorado’s cannabis scene.

On paper, this gal is a textbook sativa. The females of this regular strain grow with slender buds and loose calyxes. Her light-green leaves contrast with darker calyxes and occasional purple hues, with orange to rusty pistils. Her thick and sticky coat of trichomes makes the strain great for sifting kief later on. The strain’s flowering time is quite short for a Haze; 70 days is all the gal needs to get her juicy buds to maturity.
