I semi sono minuscoli, bisogna stare attenti quando si maneggiano perchè se cadono non li trovi più, nonostante questo ne ho piantati 10 ne sono spuntati 4 di cui 3 sono morti dopo un mesetto dalla germinazione, sono molto delicati soprattutto nelle prime fasi iniziali della loro vita.
In condizioni ottimali, in appartamento, vicino ad una finestra d' inverno e su un balcone ben esposto in estate cresce quasi 20 cm all'anno.
