Zamnesia - Lotus Essential Oil: Enjoy the Delicate Scent of Real Lotus Blossoms

Lotus flowers don't just look beautiful—their soft petals hold a delicate aroma that's floral, sweet, and musky all at once. With this pure essential oil, you can enjoy the fine aroma of lotus blossoms year-round by adding just a few drops to your diffuser, oil burner, or a spray bottle filled with water. Within minutes, your space will fill with a fresh scent and a soothing energy.

Not to be confused with the water lily (Nymphaeaceae), the lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) is one of just two species from the Nelumbonaceae family of aquatic plants. Native to India, East Asia, and parts of Russia, the lotus has a long history of cultivation. Growing up to 35 cm wide and capable of developing thousands of petals, lotuses are truly showy flowers. Besides their edible seeds, lotus stems, leaves, and rhizomes are also used in a variety of Asian cuisines and ancient practices.

Throughout Asia, the lotus flower is of extreme cultural importance. In China, for example, its use dates back roughly 3,000 years. During the Han dynasty (202 BCE ‒ 220 AD), lotus seeds were recommended for nourishing the heart and kidneys, and the ancient practice of Ayurveda also recommends using lotus for a variety of benefits. Its leaves and flowers are also commonly used in teas throughout Korea, China, Vietnam, and other parts of Asia, while its stems, rhizomes, and seeds are used in many meals for their nutritional value.

How to Use Lotus Essential Oil

Zamnesia essential oils are 100% pure, meaning they only contain the essential compounds of the plants from which they are derived. Each bottle of 10 ml lotus oil is made using fresh lotus blossoms that are slowly distilled to extract their rich aromas and other properties. Thanks to the purity of this oil, 3‒5 drops in a diffuser, oil burner, or small water-filled spray bottle is enough to keep any space smelling fresh and fragrant for hours.

    Undicht
Riecht gut aber leider ist ca 1/4 des Öls auf meiner gesammten Bestellung verteilt gewesen obwohl das Öl noch ungeöffnet war und der Deckel beim öffnen noch das erste Knackgeräusch machte.
