Sceletium tortuosum, the plant from which kanna is derived, is native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa, where it's long been used by locals. The Khoekhoe, for example, have a deep connection to Sceletium tortuosum, traditionally chewing the plant to induce visions during their rituals and ceremonies. Throughout colonial times, kanna continued to hold an important place in South African society, often being used recreationally in similar ways to alcohol. By the 17th century, Dutch traders brought Sceletium tortuosum to Europe, where it further grew in popularity.

Now, enjoying kanna at home couldn't be easier. Zamnesia's Nano Kanna is a refined kanna supplement made from 100% finely ground fermented Sceletium tortuosom with no flavouring/colouring agents, preservatives, or other additives. Thanks to its exceptionally fine grind, Nano Kanna is extra smooth, leaving behind no gritty or dirty residue (unlike more traditional kanna supplements). Recommended Daily Dosage; Usage & Storage Advice

Nano Kanna contains 1 gram of powder (20 to 50 doses, depending on the desired effect).  Note that Nano Kanna has more mass than our traditional Kanna Extreme, so 1g of this supplement may look visually larger than 1g of other Kanna products.

Nano Kanna can be used sublingually or as a snuff. See the table below for dosing instructions.

• Sublingual use: Place a small amount of powder under your tongue, hold it there for one minute, then swallow.
• Snuff use: Inhale a small amount of Nano Kanna powder through your nose.
