Grower's Choice—Original Oz: Could This Be The Strongest Strain On The Market?
When we say that Original Oz is one of the most potent strains we've ever seen, we mean it. Grower's Choice lab tests register up to 37% THC in their sample of this crazy hybrid! While her genetic origin isn't disclosed, her name suggests she may be a Cookies and Cream descendent—or maybe this is just subversion. Grower's Choice does disclose, however, that Original Oz is 70% indica-dominant and "the heaviest smoke we have ever seen,” which says a lot coming from a bank with close to 30 years of experience.
Growing Original Oz is a pleasure. These plants grow between 120 and 150cm tall indoors, and are able to produce copious yields without growing uncontrollably large (though outdoor plants can grow up to 180cm tall). Original Oz plants veg very quickly, producing strong stems and branches covered with broad, dark green leaves that soak up plenty of light. Her bloom cycle lasts roughly 9 weeks, during which time you'll see her branches grow heavy with dense, highly aromatic buds. Be sure to use an air filter when growing this strain indoors if you don't want to raise any suspicions. While yields obviously vary, Grower's Choice claims Original Oz can produce over 750g/m2 indoors—which is huge.
Original Oz flowers are tight and bright green, though they can take on beautiful dark purple hues. Their aroma combines earthy, chocolate notes with creamy vanilla overtones and plenty of sweetness. With such high levels of THC, Original Oz hits hard and quick, producing a sedating stone that'll send your mind into a daze while numbing your entire body. Tread with care when trying this monster, even if you have a high tolerance, and make sure to clear your schedule; she'll likely send you into a deep, restorative sleep soon after you light up.

My favorite strain. Grew it few times yet and it's the greatest weeds me and my Friends ever smoked. I smoke for about 30 years now.
Most Phenos I had were purple leaved and the white powdered looking Buds are hard as Stones.
I wouldn't touch it If one showed my. It looks like what I expect from PGR Weed, but I grow on old living soil. There're sure no PGRs here. Crazy...
And it's one of the strongest I know.

2 von 3 gekeimt. Beide Phenos äußerlich sehr identisch eine von beiden hatte einen sehr starken Sour/Gas geschmack. Sehr lecker

Nach Startschwierigkeiten doch noch ein Erfolg
1. Versuch
7/7 gekeimt 3 Tage später alle Jiffy und Sämling mit einem Pilz befallen …ab in die Tonne, denke nicht das es an den Samen lag.
2. Versuch
Samen nachbestellt 4 / 7 sind gekeimt 2 davon schwächel und sind sehr klein eine davon geht leider ein.
Habe also nur 2 richtig schöne Pflanzen und eine, die weit hinterher ist. Interessanterweise holt das vermeintlich schwache Pflänzlein in der 3-wöchigen Wachstumsphase richtig gut auf und ist jetzt die größte und mit den dicksten Buds alle 8 Seitenarme sind richtig hoch gewachsen und mit ordentlichen Buds versehen :) allein diese Pflanze bedeckt den halben Grow-Raum 80 x80 x 180 und geht fast bis an die Lampe.
Die Wiese ist gerade in der Wassertrocknung, habe mir aber etwas vorher abgezwackt schnell getrocknet und..... ich denke der THC Gehalt geht wirklich an die 40 %.
Werde mir definitiv nochmal diese Samen hohlen.
Als wäre man im Urlaub!
**Oreoz 7/7 gekeimt – Die Pflanze wächst schnell und kräftig. Ich habe verschiedene Phenotypen erhalten: Der gute Phänotyp sah optisch normal aus, leider ohne die typischen lila Farbtöne, aber der Geruch erinnerte mich an Cheese. Sobald man es raucht, entfaltet sich ein schokoladig, keksig und vanillecremig süßer Duft, der sich auch im Geschmack widerspiegelt – ein süßer, nussiger Vanillegeschmack à la Oreoz. Der andere Phänotyp hatte nicht ganz so kompakte Blüten und der Geschmack war ebenfalls gut, aber nicht überragend. Der Geruch war jedoch sehr ähnlich.
Die Pflanzen waren einfach zu handhaben – ich musste nur etwas unten herausschneiden und lollipoppen. Auch für Anfänger bestens geeignet! Ich habe auch Mutterpflanzen gezogen (den guten Phänotyp ausgesucht ;D), um zu testen, ob sie sich gut für Stecklinge eignen – und das tun sie! Die Stecklinge wachsen sogar prächtiger als die Mutterpflanze selbst, ganz ohne Microseeds. Ich würde sagen, nach 59 Tagen Blütezeit sind sie reif!
Die Wirkung ist sehr gut: ein angenehmes Sativa/Indica-Verhältnis. Man bleibt konzentriert und fühlt sich richtig erhoben und euphorisch – fast so, als wäre man im Urlaub! Oreoz kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. ;D
